Heartsong Yoga Center opened its doors in 1993, back when starting a small business in the relatively unknown field of yoga required courage, faith, determination, and a big vision. With heartfelt gratitude, we thank our team, our students, and our family members and friends for making this dream a reality. We offer all levels of yoga classes, including Kripalu, Vinyasa, Yin, Chair, Ashtanga, and more!
Took my first class today and booked so many more! Everyone was so welcoming and nice and the place is warm and inviting!
Oh how much I love Heartsong! I have been back at college for two months now and wow do I miss everyone at Heartsong! This past summer was amazing and I can't thank all of the teachers enough for showing me a whole new side to yoga. The environment is so uplifting and no matter which teacher/class you go to, you can’t go wrong!
Heartsong Yoga is an amazing, welcoming, beautiful place to practice yoga, meditate, and meet people from all walks of life. Everyone is there to cultivate their own individual yoga practice. Classes are for every “body”. A wonderful wonderful place to be.
It had been three years since I had practiced in person and I decided to give this studio a try. I am so incredibly glad I did. Sheila is knowledgeable, comfortable and kind. Though I just had my first class at this studio I can see it being my yoga home for a long time to come. Looking very forward to my next classes!
Sheila and the Heartsong team are amazing. I have recently begun an Ashtanga practice at the studio and have never felt so strong! There are classes for every level and they also offer special programs regularly, such as crystal bowl healing meditation and Yoga Nidra. This studio is extremely authentic and all around top notch.
I have not only found a wonderful yoga studio, I have found a place where teachers teach and respect each individual student's growth and needs. The experiences are wonderful, the atmosphere is perfect for yoga practice and everyone can learn at their own pace. Thank you!
If you're struggling with aches & pains, give chair yoga a try! Found chair yoga class both soothing & invigorating. (When the cold weather began last fall, my rheumatoid arthritis, esp. hands & wrists, flared so badly that even the simplest motions & activities were agonizing!) One morning, I happened upon Heartsong's schedule & saw their Wednesday chair yoga 11-noon. Expecting SOME relief after a month or so, I was surprised to be **NEARLY 100% PAIN FREE toward end of first class**. At a later point, the studio owner told me people often experience marked improvement in just 1 session!
Heartsong Yoga is my yoga home away from home. I live in Northern California but I visit my dad in Western Mass twice a year for a week each time and when I'm local I spend as much time as possible at Heartsong--I go most every day. The first class I took at Heartsong was with Beth, who is also the owner's mom. There's something about her that especially fill my heart so I seek out her classes. She's my East Coast teacher. In the four years I've been studying at Heartsong, I have also loved Sheila's classes (Ashtanga and Kripalu). Last week I had a blast in Steve's TGI Friday Flow. I love my life in the Bay Area--the only thing that would make it more perfect were if I could go to Heartsong all the time. Keep up the great work, Heartsong family! Molly
Best yoga studio and teachers!
Heartsong Yoga was very welcoming and fun! I bought my mother a few classes for Christmas and we attended together. We both enjoyed it!
Stopped by Heart Song Yoga and Tried a class a while ago. It was excellent. If you are lucky enough to live nearby, you should try it. (After covid). I hear the on line yoga classes are popular too. My family loves them. I live in NY but I m going to start doing them on line
Where body meets mind and spirit. Love Heartsong !
Beautiful studio with so many classes on the schedule you can always find a style and time to fit your needs. Super friendly community and supportive teachers.
