Today was my first visit to the East Longmeadow office of Pioneer Spine and Sports Physicians. I was really happy with the office, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

There was a miscommunication and I went to the East Longmeadow location instead of the West Springfield. Debbie went as far as to call them and make sure they would still take me so I didn’t drive all the way there for no reason. That is considerate to not only me but the doctors and staff there! Debbie was incredibly kind.

I have no issues with my therapist Kristin she is great the office is another issue. If I could give them a zero on this rating I would. Since the beginning of my treatment it has been very difficult to get appointments. At times it was 2-3 weeks before I could be fit in again. Mind you this is on a very flexible schedule as I’m available any day or time during the summer. The lack of continuity of treatment in my opinion is not as successful when treatment is started and stopped. Today was the kicker scheduled for therapy and an hour before my appointment a voicemail was left to say my appointment and all future appointments are cancelled because my referral date expired. “Someone will call to reschedule you at a later time.” This is incredulous to me as someone coming from years of medical office experience. This company has Absolutely no consideration for the patient or customer service. I cannot even call the person back in East longmeadow due to their system of being put into the main queue. I will not be returning to this office. I will have to find another place and start treatment over. Unbelievably upset with their processes.

If I can give this place a negative score I would. I heard the west Springfield office is much better in conducting business, but this office is by far the worst healthcare establishment I have visited so far. First of all, I was referred here from urgent care. I was in intense pain and not knowing where it originated from, I was very afraid something was wrong. This place recommended a MRI which I agreed was the first step in determining my problem. After a week of being told that they sent out my request for MRI, just to find out they had me calling the wrong place daily and not answering my calls. I knew there was something wrong here. I was treated as I was pretending to have faked an injury and made me feel unwelcome with constant remark as to look elsewhere for help. After reading the other reviews I realized this place shouldn’t be in business!! I got charged falsely for doctor visits which I never even had been aware of!!

I have never been treated so inhumanely in my entire life. I have been struggling to literally find any will in my heart to continue, and waited an entire month for an appointment just for DR. CHAN to judge and belittle me, laughing at my despair. Truly disgusting. Do not make an appointment here at pioneer spine and sports because they simply do not care about you. Not a single person defended me and I told the entire office how he treated me in the room alone. Not only that he most definitely did unnecessary touching of my body in my very short lived appointment. They didn’t care about me, I literally left in tears. This spinal pain has almost driven me to suicide twice and he recommended ibuprofen and laughed. I had a stomach bleed from NSAIDS, not a single acknowledgment. Hear my story, form your own opinion. They turned away a veteran with two fractured vertebrae, covered by insurance, but only after crushing my dignity first. 265 Benton Dr East Longmeadow, MA 01028 United States Save yourself the drive; find a better orthopedic that will do everything in there power to help you. I’m going to get to that now.

I regret having gone to the East Longmeadow site. I was evaluated by the md. I was assured that a rx was going to be called in. I had been experiencing ridiculous muscle spasms. I went to my pharmacy the same day. Was told that insurance would not cover. I am still waiting. Upon calling the office for second time was given the run around. placed on permanent hold when I asked to speak to office mgr. Completly different service when compared to W. Spfld location. My appt was June 30th. I am suppose to have a procedure done. No way will I tempt fate.

I called to make an appointment. The staff member was polite until she learned that I had Tufts. It was downhill from there. She became rude and she definitively stated that I needed a referral. I explained that my insurance plan doesn't require referrals to see a specialist, and that my insurance company had given me the number of her office as a contractor who accepts Tufts. She replied that I could make an appointment right then, but it would likely be cancelled after I got off the phone. Seconds later, I called New England Orthopedics, who took me on right away. I asked if I needed a referral, now fearing that this may be a problem. The woman laughed and said, 'No. Your insurance doesn't require a referral to see a specialist.'

Excellent, knowledgeable physical therapists. I was treated at this facility in February of 2016 for a vertebral compression fracture d/to osteoporosis and also for an unstable Sacroiliac joint. I had to be driven for my appointment. The next appointment I was able to drive myself. I was out of intense pain and the intense spasms within approximately 10 days. I had treatment 3 times weekly for a few weeks then twice weekly along with a home therapy program to follow. The stretching exercises, myofascia releases massage, hands on therapy resulted in much more quickly relief than I ever imagined possible. I highly recommend Pioneer Spine and Sports Physical Therapy.. A special thanks to Kristen and Kevin and their assistants who were my main therapists ..
