Massachusetts Taekwondo Academy is a locally owned and operated martial arts training center in East Longmeadow, MA. All students will learn Taekwondo, Grappling, Boxing, Olympic Sparring and Combatives. We are a proud member of USA TAEKWONDO. The only academy in Western Mass with active State and National Medalist and only Academy to compete at States and Nationals. Our Taekwondo programs prepare our students for success in school and in life by teaching leadership development, social skills, strong discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and motor skills while increasing self-confidence, focus, and concentration. We also offer Childcare Programs: Before School, After School, and Vacation Full Day Programs. We are an Licensed EEC Program

Excellent Martial Arts Academy! My child has been enrolled for over 5 months now and I've seen such a difference in confidence, coordination and concentration. Master instructors are attentive, patient and very kind! Highly recommend!
Instructor Mehrdad and his team are phenomenal. My 9 year old son joined a few months ago, and it’s been nothing shy of awesome! In addition to taekwondo 2 nights per week, now he is doing their wrestling program as well. Your child will learn discipline, hard work, self control, respect, and so much more. We really couldn’t be any happier with the people and the services they provide. Thank you!
This place is amazing ! Very professional , clean and family oriented! The instructors take their time with the children and also instill structure and respect ! I highly recommend Massachusetts Taekwondo! I can’t wait for our twins to turn 5 to be able to attend with our 6 yr old.
The instructors are all amazing and knowledgeable. They know how to get through to young kids in a helpful and supportive way. They are stern when they need to be, and never in excess. The staff are all awesome, friendly and helpful. It feels really good to be part of a community that has healthy values and goals.
MTA is not just taekwondo, it’s family. From the before and after school program, too the taekwondo instructors, and Instructor Mehrdad are amazing with the kids. They put so much effort, pride in all their students. My son in almost the 5 years has been here, have formed bonds stronger than you could imagine. Because of the staff my son learns discipline, respect, honesty, and true relationships. I’m forever grateful for MTA.
Great place, this place has a true family feel. Instructors care about the kids and love watching them succeed. One of my children have autism, one has a processing disorder and the staff takes into account their needs when teaching them new material. The school age program gives my kids the structure they crave in a warm environment.
MTA is our second home and family. I can't say enough about how they treat everyone and make after school care fun for the kids. I have two children that are in the after school program, and one trains in Taekwondo. I also began training in the teen/adult class which has helped me become healthier and able to help my son train. The staff and instructors are very professional and my kids love them! I highly recommend MTA.
Our son thrives here! Master Mehrdad cultivates a Taekwondo family that values hard-work, self-respect and discipline. Students and their families are cared for like one big family! It is a wonderful athletic, cultural and spiritual experience. Every child is known by name by all instructors.
