Holyoke Medical Center - PRIMARY CARE in Chicopee

I have helpful visits when I see the doctors or nurse practioners in chicopee. I am a patient there. The issue I have each time I do in, is people at the reception desk and a couple of the medical assistants are rude and not friendly. Holyoke should really reevaluate their staff and hire people that actually want to be at their jobs and have compassion. So sad to run into this. I will not leave my doctor for this but the group should reevaluate employees they hire.

This doctor's office deserves zero stars. The lack of care is astonishing. Two weeks ago I booked an appointment to see my primary care provider Dr. Asma Kareem. Today I showed up for my appointment 10 minuets ahead of time and was informed by the secretary that I, in fact, did not have an appointment because it was canceled. She told me that someone had "called me." I never received a call from this practice since making my appointment. Although, I do have a text message confirming the appointment, not canceling. I showed her the message, and she said nope, you do not have an appointment, it was canceled. When I asked why the appointment was canceled without me being notified, she said, "Dr. Kareem no longer sees sick patients". I asked her what kind of patients my primary care provider sees then, and she wouldn't elaborate any further. The rude and condescending secretary then informed me that I could wait to be seen by the urgent care doctor instead, but the wait would be over an hour. I left. This primary care office is unprofessional and does not care for its patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Kareems since 2019. I will be seeking care elsewhere from now on. Do not waste your time or money to be seen at this pathetic excuse for a medical practice.

The medical professional has demonstrated the utmost professionalism, honesty, and approachability. The nurses and support staff have been exceptionally helpful and amiable. I have felt at ease and have not encountered any difficulties during the times I have visited here.

I honestly believe these drs are killing my mother. someone with serious health issues, documented health issues, and they don't listen, they don't show up for appointments, they are doing absolutely not one thing to find out what's causing her problems, like a dr should. Dr's should cure and help not keep people sick. I am disgusted. heart broken. I don't want to loose my mom because of medical negligence

I called and left message with the receptionist regarding medications and my symptoms not improving. They call back 7 hours later, an hour before they close and ask "what's wrong?" Um, did you not read the notes? And here we are the next day, still in pain, without any answers. This has happened twice now. Once is an accident, twice is a pattern.

Celeste and John Glogowski at the Chicopee location are so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, understanding, and actually take the time to listen and explain important things. They are honest and truly good people and medical staff. Top care I receive every time. Thank you for making my experience a positive one.

Excellent customer service, My doctor are the wonderful people that I met thank you only walk-in or appointment employee and Doctor are excellent blood work, x ray , efficiency are wonderful parking lot accessible for handicap, bathroom. Great also you can find fiscal therapy at the location

Doctor Dickey has been my primary care physician for close to seven years. He has provided exceptional, careful and effective medical attention. I like that he does not over prescribe, that he considers alternative and natural treatments. His manner is both professional and warm. The referrals and recommendations he has made for me are spot on and effective. He is never rushed and always kind.
