Francis J. McCrehan Memorial Swimming and Wading Pool in Cambridge

First place I ever went swimming. Back when the fence had a hole in it, we’d go there when the water was drained and skate around.

Kids love it there and the older kids help the younger ones in the pool and make sure they are all having a great time

Very dirty showers and floors in changing rooms, all drains are clogged up. I went there today and there was a pool check in the afternoon for 15 minutes (quite normal) but then 30 minutes later another one was called by a life guard. All the other life guards at the seating entrance looked baffled and were asking girl what was going on and she reiterated that she had called a pool check. A bit of a shame as people then left. Other than this it's fun and has loads of potential.

My kids and I like it very much, we had a lot of fun during this summer. Thank you very much for all the stuff who did a great job. FYI the shower water is super hot.

Arrived at opening time and discovered that the pool opening was delayed due to short staffing. The two disappointed children began kicking around a soccer ball and next thing I know there is a full on soccer game between the guards and our children. It was an amazing sight to see!!!! A big thank you for helping our children have fun passing time by while waiting for enough staff. Also, a big thank you to all the life guards for your friendly and informative nature. And a big thank you for your commitment in keeping the swimmers safe while they enjoy cooling off on these hot summer days. Without you it would not be possible!!!!

Absolutely love this pool. Its always clean and the lifeguards are friendly, sometimes they will get in with the kids and swim. My only downside is the bathrooms could use better care. There always gross

Nice pool, free to the public. Not very deep, but that's good for kids. No separate areas for lap swimming or diving. Not many tables or benches, so bring some folding chairs or extra towels to sit on. The entrance is a little weird - you have to go through the bathroom. There's a good number of lifeguards, but they aren't all the most attentive.

Love this place been coming here da last couple years the staff is great they are very attentive the place is great and they do pool checks n the parking is free it's a gd place just FYI due to some construction the kiddie pool is closed buuuut the bigger pool has a small bout 2ft area for the kiddies
