Went here for both back pain and a shoulder injury. I mainly worked with Nghi, but I also worked with Vidhina and Mitzi a few times. Everyone is so nice, but also pushing to get you better and stronger. Whenever I asked questions about the exercises, like what muscles I should be feeling or what the goal of an exercise was, they always took the time to explain it to me. Some people prefer more private PT sessions, but I really like the open floor and seeing other people doing their PT (it also acts as a motivator to do the exercises the best that I can!). I also like that they combine physical therapy with targeted manual therapy. Overall, great people and great place for PT!

I wanted to share my extremely positive experience with Bay State Physical Therapy. From the moment I began my treatment, I've been consistently impressed with the quality of care I've received. Nghi my physical therapist is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in my recovery. She took the time to understand my specific condition and created a personalized treatment plan that addressed my unique needs. During each session, Nghi provided clear explanations about the purpose of each exercise and hands-on technique. What truly stands out is the remarkable improvement I've experienced since starting therapy. By attending my scheduled sessions regularly and following the prescribed home exercise program, I've seen significant progress in my mobility, strength, and overall function. Activities that were once challenging have become increasingly manageable, which has greatly improved my quality of life. The facility is well-maintained with equipment, and the supportive environment makes each visit pleasant despite the hard work involved. I highly recommend Bay State Physical Therapy to anyone seeking physical therapy services. My therapist's expertise and dedication have made a substantial difference in my recovery journey.

Bay State has many offices, this one is near Porter Square. Their staff are well educated, young therapists. I worked with Vidhina Pansare who trained at Northeastern. I most often had Owen as the assistant. Like most PT offices, part of the time is with the therapist and half (or more) is showing them that you know how to do the exercises. In three months, I made significant progress healing from back and wrist pain and was released to keep up the exercise program. Vidhina is A+ — smart, kind, patient. Advice: find someone there that you like and schedule when they are working. Don’t flit from therapist to therapist. You won’t get as much out of it without one person knowing your situation. The space is clean. The background music is pleasant. The temperature was good to slightly too warm (in winter).

I saw Nghi for physical therapy after I fell down some stairs and had a minor back injury. I originally chose Baystate because it was located near my house and I was able to get an appointment less than 2 weeks from my initial call. I appreciated that I wasn’t just repeating the same exercises at home and in sessions. I was given new exercises each week that were adjusted based on my progress. She also took the time to answer all of my questions, whether they were directly related to my injury or not. I really valued that if she wasn’t sure about something, she took the time to look it up. The facility is clean and inviting, and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Nghi for anyone looking for a Physical Therapist!

I just finished my 2nd clinical at Bay State in Porter Square after working here for 10 weeks. I cannot recommend the entire staff enough; I truly learned so much and developed skills that I will use for the rest of my career. My clinical instructor, Nghi, is awesome with all patients and has an incredibly warm energy. I also worked with Nick and learned how to make patients’ time and effort into a valuable experience. Thank you Bay State Porter Square!!

I have been going here now for a few weeks do to knee pain. Nick and his staff have been very accommodating to my work schedule. There all very knowledgeable and able to give me exercises that I can do on my own in between sessions that I can do both at home of the gym. I am in a lot less pain then when I first started.

I cannot recommend Nick highly enough – he has literally changed my life. After tearing my ACL and meniscus in March 2024 and undergoing surgery, I thought my athletic future would be a shadow of what it once was. I certainly reflected this morose outlook in my 'tude during our earlier sessions. But thanks to Nick’s incredible expertise, dedication, and positive energy, I am not only back on my feet – I’m a better athlete than I’ve ever been. I worked with Nick for over 8 months, and every session was a game-changer. He didn’t just help me rehab my knee; he transformed my entire approach to movement and training. I now have better body awareness, strength, and balance, and I’ve built lifelong habits to help keep me injury-free. Throughout the process, Nick’s enthusiasm and commitment made every session fun (yes, fun!), even on the toughest days. He described my knee as the “Mona Lisa” of his career, and let me tell you – the results live up to the hype! If you’re lucky enough to work with Nick, you’re in the best hands. He’s not just a physical therapist; he’s a coach, motivator, and all-around legend. Thank you, Nick, for giving me my life (and my knee) back – stronger and better than ever!
