We are a Boston-based gym here to help you work towards your fitness goals! We have a 3,000 square foot functional training turf area, cinema-style spin studio, large group exercise studio featuring over 30 classes/week and a variety of cardiovascular, strength and functional training equipment.
A lot of things need improving. The same things that have been broken are still broken. Machines are old. And the weekend hours are very short. Classes have also become scant. Other than that it's a clean gym and not too bad.
New member here and no regrets about my decision! Classes are really good with awesome teachers. Everything is really clean and up to date!
Staff super friendly. Plenty of machines. Doesn't smell like a gym! Fresh and clean. Towels! And lockable lockers. Great place.
As a first time user of this gym, 5/5! The gym was spacious, clean, well maintained, and had a variety of machines or free weights across the gym for usage. Everything was organized and labeled for all to have access to and workout efficiently. As a guest for the first time, it’s complimentary and then you pay $20 for each visit. I’d say it’s worth the first visit and many more leading to becoming a member if you desire to. As for a gym, amenities matter when it comes to price and a membership is worth it for what you get at New Balance Fitness Club. An additional perk is they will validate your parking if you need to park in the 15 Guest St. parking garage. ✨No other parking garage gets a validated parking ticket in the area. Above all, it’s worth it and for all my gym goers, check them out! 💪🏾
Just not a good gym and policy patrols hunts people like they get paid commission. Was interrupted 3 times from keeping my belongings on me to using more than 1 piece of equipment after signing up with no knowledge of the gym policies. Uninspiring atmosphere, female staff is friendly but just not worth the amount of money the membership is worth.
I gave 2 stars for a friendly staff. I’ve been a member for a year. It started out with a water fountain out or a soap dispenser broken or empty. stuff happens. You tell the staff, smile and keep going. 1 year later and soap dispenser broken, paper towels empty.
My husband and I signed up with a discounted rate since we were in the same household! Price is comparable to other gyms locally but what sold me was the variety of classes and proximity to home. Absolutely loved Spin class with Kate, she always brings a contagious energy. Kate made me feel so special in my last class and played a requested song! Would recommend to anyone looking for a variety of classes. Cancellation policy was very easy, but only cancelling because I am moving out of state.
Love this gym. It has everything I need and is never too crowded where I have to wait around for equipment. My only complaint is the hours are terrible. For the price you pay, you’d think it would be open past 4pm on the weekends…wish they would expand the hours to 9pm on weekends cus some of us do work sat and sun.
