Jess and Amy are phenomenal. They each lead classes that provide functional fitness benefits and boxing technique. You will walk away from each class getting a sweat in but also learning something boxing related each time. A great boxing environment for beginner to expert boxers alike, and a friendly community as well

One month in and I LOVE BoxSmith! The owner/head coach, Jess is welcoming and very kind. Don't be fooled by that smile...She makes you work!! Workouts are fun and vary day to day. Small classes so we get personal attention to ensure our form is on point or a little encouragement when we want to stop moving. We can go hard in a safe way as she provides plenty of modifications for injuries or body limitations. There is a real community feel here - no judgement, no pressure - just a lot of sweat! There is nothing better than imagining the face of whoever pissed you off that day on the bag and going IN! Wonderful stress relief and my way of practicing a little self-care. So glad I found this gym!

My 11-year-old daughter has been doing private sessions with Jess, and it has been fantastic! She is gaining confidence and strength while she has fun. Jess always has something new and fun to introduce at each session so that keeps it interesting.

I've been going to Boxsmith for over a year and I love it. I had been boxing at home for stress relief, but not with skill or training. The atmosphere at most gyms makes me uncomfortable. However, at Boxsmith there is a camaraderie amongst participants, and frankly it's truly all levels. We have people who are super fit and dabble in boxing matches and then people like myself: middle aged teacher who is....not as fit. My 17 year old also attends some classes with me, and they enjoy it as well. Good mix of improving skill, cardio, abs, and let's face it, some good old fashioned pain and suffering! (In the best way though). Jess (owner) takes injuries seriously and has plenty of ways to modify if you have an injury. Other coaches and substitutes are also great.

Boxsmith is a great boxing gym. I've been going for nearly 2 year and really enjoy the small class sizes, great instruction, and variation in workouts every week for total body conditioning. The owner Jess is very welcoming and fun while pushing me during the workouts. There's something for everyone - bags, sparring, and you can even train for amateur boxing match. Love it!

Jess is AMAZING!! She is a patient coach and person. She matches your needs and speed, and will always cheer you on so you don’t give up in those last 30 seconds. This is the first gym/coach who doesn’t make me feel embarrassed!! You’ll also get a bonus because the gyms playlist is always a vibe

Love Boxsmith. Been taking boxing classes here for almost two years now - great instructors, great people in the classes. Great cardio + conditioning classes that are also a great stress release - nothing like punching a bag to heal what ails you.

Great coaches, great equipment. I trained 1:1 with Jess for two years and recommend it to anyone. She always focussed on my training priorities, even if they changed from session to session. And it’s great to find a gym that can match your priorities. You don’t want to compete? No problem, work on your striking and fitness. Just focussing on cardio? You’ll be a sweaty puddle when you’re done. Want to get in the ring for your first match? Jess will set you up with the diet and training schedule you need. For my money, hitting the bags and mitts until my shoulders cried uncle was the way to go. I know Oprah is telling us to try mindfulness and I’m supposed to become one with the spiritual energy of the world or whatever, but sometimes you just need to hit something. This is the place for that. Beginner to contender, you’ve only got one shot - would you capture it, or just let it slip?
