Welcome to Crumpin-Fox Club! We're a beautiful 18 hole Golf course located in Bernardston, MA. Crumpin-Fox Club was conceived in 1969 as the “field of dreams” of David Berelson, who engaged the services of Roger Rulewich of Robert Trent Jones, Inc to locate a site that would accommodate a Pine Valley type golf course. Under the direction of Roger Rulewich, the front nine holes were built along with extensive renovations to the existing back nine holes, the driving range and the irrigation system. Bent grass fairways were planted and the course opened in June of 1990. Our continuing goal is to provide an enjoyable and challenging golf experience and promote the values of the game of golf.
The food was amazing. Drinks were great. Lovely conversation with the general manager and bartender. Very down to Earth people. Can't wait to go back again!
I was in New Hampshire for work last week. In my quest to golf in all 50 states, I decided to find a course in Northern Massachusetts. I was lucky enough to find Crumpin-Fox, a Robert Trent Jones design. I left Manchester at 5:15 AM to arrive for my 7:45 tee time. I needed an early tee time because I wanted to golf in Vermont in the afternoon. Upon arrival, the staff could not have been more welcoming. Brian, the GM talked to me before my round and met me on the 18th green to ask about my round and my thoughts on the course. The course was beautiful and challenging. Considering all the rainfall, the course was still in great shape. I hope to return one day to play again. I highly recommend this course.
Pristine, well laid out, fair and fairly open. The staff was friendly personable and helpful. Great course, I cannot wait to come back.
We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the boys wanted to play golf and stumbled on the course with dumb luck. We were glad we did as the course and grounds a very well maintained. We had lunch first then played and like the food at the restaurant that we invited a few other friends that were in town to come and have dinner at the course. I must say yes it is a pricey course but it was very well maintained. The food at the restaurant was not overpriced and was delicious. Almost all of the staff were great and very pleasurable and made us feel welcome. When back in the area we will be back.
My favorite course in Massachusetts and probably one of my favorite courses ever. What I like most about this course is how much each hole forces you to think through every shot. The course is brilliantly designed to give the player many different options and there are no easy or straightforward shots. I think my favorite might be the par 5 17th (first pic), which makes you split a narrow gap off the tee if you’re trying to get home in two. The small undulating greens and narrow fairways make this course a challenge as it definitely feels like a US Open Qualifier.
Great place all around... prestine golfing conditions... exceptional staff... highly recommend it. I must have run over a screw on my way in and got a flat as a result... I had a repair kit, took off the wheel, plugged it, and the General Manager himself brought over his personal vehicle, had an air pump, filled my tire, and I was on my way... Really great people... TY Update: another visit another great experience... highly recommend it.
This course is in great shape. The greens are fast and true. Driving range offered free range balls and the restaurant has delicious food. Definitely recommend to friends and family.
The Safari Club of Golf enjoyed another spectacular day at one of our longtime favorite golf courses earlier this 2021 season back on May 12. It's been four years since my last review so I thought it high time to bring things current. This was the 12th year in a row we took this opportunity to have one of the best golf courses and finest golfing facilities located anywhere throughout the entire northeast at our organizations full disposal. Over 120 members and friends took full advantage of this opportunity and were even more impressed with everything at Crumpin Fox this year than they were ever before. The continued changes and efforts to improve the golf course and facilities from what we previously thought couldn't possibly be improved upon becomes more apparent each year. Making one feel like we have a replica of sorts to Augusta itself. I'm a little late in getting to this review up. But better late than never, as they like to say. I'm going to encourage our members to get their feelings about this fabulous layout and facilities known as well.
