Highly recommend Green Light Bicycle shop. I live in Hardwick, MA and I called on a Tuesday and they came out to my home the next morning. Being in my 60's I bought an Adult Tricycle and put most of it together but wasn't sure of the rear derailleur. They came out and made the adjustments, fine tuned everything on my bike. Now I am Happy Old Woman riding a bike. It was well worth the money spent on a house call. Thanks for all your help. You are now my go to bike guys.
Sean is the guy! I needed not just rim work but an entire rebuild and no one in the area was able to do it in a reasonable time frame. I was recommended by another shop to visit green light and Im so glad I did. This rim was a mess but sean was able to completely re-lace and ture the wheel within a few days. The price was more than fair and he did such an excellent job that I now only would recommend him over the local competition. He is an honest and hard working guy that knows pretty much everything you need to know about bike repair. Big thanks once again!
I got an older large bike for a reasonable price from Greenlight. Worked great for the first week, but then the chain broke. I was pretty disappointed considering I just paid a couple hundred for it. I called the owner and he offered to drive out to me in Amherst to replace the chain and only charge for the cost of a new chain! A couple days later the new chain was in and I have had zero issues with the bike since then! I'd recommend this shop for sure.
My husband called Green Light Bike shop late Sunday morning after we noticed my tire was in poor condition, and we hoped to take an afternoon ride. Sean was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. The price was great too. We would absolutely bring our bikes back, and highly recommend!
I brought in my downhill bike with a shifting issue I couldn't resolve and a stiff headset. I got my shifting issues fixed, and he offered to order the parts for my headset, but since I hadn't agreed to it, it didn't. He charged my a fair price for the services I got, and I would bring my bike to him again.
Brought my bike to this “clown“ and was told he was confident he could fix it and that it would be ready two business days later. Two business days later, I get a call from him stating that he did not and cannot fix the bike. Then he proceeded to try to buy the bike for me for 10% of its value. His reason for not fixing the bike was that two other downhill bikers came in that needed help before me. He then proceeded to admit that he was too afraid to take it apart, wasting our time. To top it off, when picking up the bike, he proceeded to verbally assault us when we were expressing our concerns. You can read his responses to the 1 star reviews here to get a sampling for his aggressive and non-professional verbiage toward patrons. Do not go to this bike shop.
Highly recommend. Sean was amazing. Got my bike in perfect shape and was able to purchase a great helmet and order a bike rack. Super nice and I want to shout out Nancy for her amazing cleaning skills. My bike sparkles. And best Easter egg hider and artist! Thanks to both Sean and Nancy!
I was on a 300k randoneurring ride coming from Boston when my spoke broke. I was able to get to Green Light on the wobbly wheel. Sean had me back on the road in 20 minutes and even filled up my water bottles! He is clearly a very skilled bike mechanic and super enthusiastic about bikes. I greatly enjoyed the time in his shop talking bike tech!
