LOVE this place. All the Physical therapists seem very knowledgable in their expertise. I’ve been going for an injured rotator cuff, typical session starts off with a massage of some sort to loosen up the muscles. Then foundational targeted exercises to warm up the injured area. Then proceed to more dynamic exercises. They treat you with care, listen very well to understand how you feel your progressing and what issues may have come up in-between sessions. The locations aroma is pretty chill, active conversations with others if you’d like to indulge or just listen to music while working through your session.
Working with Jason at Boston Sports Medicine has been incredibly helpful. Jason is very knowledgeable about human physiology and customizes the exercises which he gives me to my specific case (lower lumbar). His attitude is not as a doctor to a patient but as a coach to an athlete. I've been seeing him for four months and my back is improving. And, one of the nicest things which he does is to ask how I am at the beginning of every visit. He understands that we all have good days and bad days, and he adapts the session to where things are. Jason is also very patient. He answers all questions about why he's recommending certain exercises clearly in a way which anyone can understand. This is very helpful. I strongly recommend working with Jason.
Very disappointed. 😥 I have been in PT several times in my life. I have never had a problem with being charged because of my insurance. 🤔 I told at least 4 people there at least 8 times that it is a Workers Comp claim. And they put it thru my regular health insurance instead. My regular health insurance figured out it happened at work, and they refuse to pay. I could understand if I didn't tell BSM, it was in my forms too. I could complain about my care, but I won't yet. 🤫
Wonderful place to rehab. Tyler and Leah and the team are outstanding. It sounds trite, but it really is like a family. A very understanding and supportive family. Top rate!
Boston Sports Medicine in Allston, both clinic 1 and 2, have been a great help in my recovery from a work injury. I worked with Tyler and Lia, and they were both fantastic and really listened to my concerns and built a program for me that was appropriate but aptly challenging. They helped cultivate a positive environment, and were a great support system in my rehab journey. I highly recommend them.
I had PT with Jason and Gordon at the Allston location. Fantastic experience, I found myself looking forward to each session. The facility was excellent and I couldn't have asked for more knowledgeable, enthusiastic professionals to guide me through what was an extremely rewarding and positive process; 110% recommend for anyone ready to take control of their bodies and get at it!!!
I came to Boston Sports Medicine with bilateral shoulder pain and worked with Jason. I particularly like this clinic because they are great for weightlifting-related injuries (they have a power rack right when you walk in the door). Jason was fantastic in diagnosing and treating my injury and helping me return to normal activities at work and in the gym within a few months. He is not only super knowledgeable about injuries but was fantastic when it came to training problems in general. Boston Sports Medicine was also focused on helping me develop a plan to maintain my health after PT, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Jason and Boston Sports Medicine!
I have had the pleasure of spending many days and hours working with Jason and Gordon for my shoulder surgery rehab. I never realized how long and arduous the rehab process was, but I am thankful I ended up at Boston Sports Medicine, and specifically working with these guys. I can say with confidence that I feel like I came out far better than when I went in, met a bunch of great folks/patients along the way, and opted to continue going to the clinic for post rehab strength training (an additional service beyond PT). My journey continues and I am happy to keep working with them.
