My name is Cienna Harris from Hadley, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, I knew I wanted to use my passion for health and fitness to teach and help others. My year after high school was spent traveling Europe and the US while spending time in the gym with different trainers each with very different avenues within the fitness industry. The series hands-on, one-one-on education allowed me to realize that I had a home at be FIT. Megan and Pete took my excitement for this career choice to another level.
When I’m not in the gym or with my family, I am working for an iHeartMedia company in Springfield, modeling/acting for one of my agencies in New England or babysitting.
I spent a long weekend at the Boston MANIA Fitness Convention this past year. At the end of the weekend, I received a personal training certification. I am now continuing further my education with ACE (the American Council of Exercise). I have been teaching many classes as a Group Fitness Instructor at both of our health clubs. Aside from working one-on-one with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, I specialize in boot camp and circuit training, strength and conditioning, barre technique, and functional dynamics exercise. I teach small group training called teamTread at our Easthampton location and group fitness classes Thursdays and Fridays at our Amherst location.
My clients range from ages 15-68 with a wide range of goals, health limitations and overall fitness levels. My goal is to make each one of my clients feel good about their health and mind as they continue to challenge themselves along with my guidance and expertise.
